In September, the two teams lose some members due to reaching the age limits, but two of them choose to stay as mentors to support the younger teammates, equally dividing themselves between the two teams.

As a first step, the teams decide to change their names: thus begins the story of those who will become the "Bottegai" and the "SustainaBot".

Why the name Bottegai?

When thinking of a name, we were looking for something that evoked both manual work and robots. After some brainstorming sessions, Giulia, a new team member, proposed "Bottegai". This term recalls the old artisans, shop owners dedicated to manual and creative work; moreover, it includes the word "BOT", a reference to the world of robots and our experience in the robotics club.

Preparation and qualification

Compared to the previous experience, this new season immediately stood out for a novelty: in-person preparation, instead of remote, both for the part dedicated to the robot and for the scientific project.

During the regional qualifications, we managed to qualify for our first national final, which took place in Rovereto. On this occasion, we won several awards, including the prestigious North West Champion Award.
